There once stood a great tree on a quiet hillside. Its branches stretched toward the heavens, its roots reached deep into the earth, and every season it faithfully gave shade to those who passed by.

But the tree carried a secret.

It couldn’t speak.

Every day it watched the sunrise paint the sky with brilliant colors. It listened to the songs of birds, the laughter of children, and the whispers of the wind. Deep inside, the tree had so much wisdom, so many stories, and so much love to share—but no one could hear its voice.

As the years passed, the tree grew sad.

“If only someone could hear me,” it thought. “I have so much to say.”

One beautiful morning, a white dove gently landed on one of its branches.

The dove looked at the tree and asked softly, “Why are you so sad?”

The tree sighed.

“I have so much to say,” it replied, “but no one can hear me. My heart is full of stories, hope, and truth, yet I have no voice.”

The dove smiled.

“Don’t be sad,” the dove said. “I can hear you.”

The tree looked at the dove with surprise.

“You… you can hear me?”

“I can,” the dove answered. “And one day, the whole world will hear you.”

The tree’s eyes widened with wonder.

“How do you know that?” it asked.

The dove spread its wings and smiled.

“Because I know what God can do.”

The tree listened carefully.

“I was there,” the dove continued. “I descended from heaven and rested upon the shoulder of Jesus when He was baptized in the Jordan River. I witnessed the Father’s voice from heaven. I have seen God’s promises fulfilled. If He has given you a message, He will make sure it is heard—in His perfect time.”

The tree was silent for a long moment.

Then, for the first time in many years, it no longer felt alone.

From that day forward, the tree stood with hope instead of sorrow. It no longer worried about being heard. It simply continued growing, standing faithfully, and waiting for God’s timing.

Because it had learned an important truth:

God hears the words that no one else can hear.

And when the time is right, He has a way of giving a voice to those who faithfully wait on Him.
